Last August I spent a weekend in northern Israel, to take advantage of the hot summer to visit the Sea of Galilee and its springs. We came to Had Ness, a charming place with a great view and a pleasant quiet location, perfect location for all the attractions in the area and within a reasonable driving distance to restaurants in the area.
The Zimmer/cabin “Had ness 229”
We drove to the city of Rosh Pina and then opened WAZE to find the exact location of the Zimmer. The complex is built of three cabins with a garden and a private pool. The pool of each cabin is ecologically chlorine-free at a constant temperature of 31 degrees, so we open the visit with a long dip with cold wine, watermelon and grapes. There is also a garden tanning bed, table and chairs and the most fun: hammock! later on we moved the hot tub in the room (wine of course kept us there as well, which contributed little dizzy daisy combination).

Breakfast time
We had breakfast on the common terrace with the other rooms, with a lovely view to the Sea of Galilee. Avivit is the charming host who welcomed us and served us a very varied meal which included four types of salads, eggs at our request, quiche, breads, home jams and cheeses. There is even a hummus omelet and a vegan salad. Surely this is one of the most varied and delicious meals I’ve received at Zimmer.
Great breakfast with variety of good dishes
The one-room Nes 229 contains a Jacuzzi, robes, shower, refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine and two TVs. Click here for the Zimmer website.
The complex has three cabins, two couples and one for a big family, with has a larger pool. We did not hear or notice the other guests except at breakfast.
There’s nothing like a hot tub full of foam
