Much more than sausages and Pickled cabbage: German cuisine is not considered a great culinary hit, but the scene of restaurants and pubs in Berlin is certainly need to be considered. On my short visit here (4 and a half days), I did not visit even half of the restaurants I had on the list, but I will definitely recommend the restaurants that I tried and loved and in my opinion a Berlin food guide would not be complete without them.
Welcome to comment below with more restaurants!
Monsieur Vuong
There are a lot of Asian restaurants in Berlin, and quite a few Vietnamese restaurants, but Monsieur Wong is the best. It has a line (luckily, it runs very fast) and a limited menu that includes several versions of spring roll, cold noodles salad, poh soup and wonderful desserts. The opening dishes cost 4-5 euros, the soup is 8-10 Euros and the local cocktails are around 7 Euros. Do not miss!

Burger Meister
well its one of the famous burgers in berlin, Burgermeister Schlesisches Tor, but usually you’ll have to stand in line for at least half an hour an hour to get a taste of this burger. we didn’t wait.
address: U1 Schlesisches Tor, Oberbaumstraße 8, 10997 Berlin, Germanyw
I did not wait in line and instead I chose to go to the burger Grindhouse – Homemade Burgers In the Mitte neighborhood. Was excellent and at a good price, especially the hamburger plus avocado.

Excessive desserts are us: Aldemir Eis
In the heart of the Kreuzberg neighborhood, in a restaurant-lined street, is the Aldemir Eis dessert store. Goal: Put together an excessive dessert. The way: 3 flavors of ice cream of choice, whipped cream, huge waffle cups and lots of fruit and chocolate. .
Lutter & Wegner Weinhandlung - Classic dinner
Until a few years ago, the Luther & Wagner restaurant enjoyed a Michelin star rating, and to this day it maintains a high level of dishes (and relatively high prices) and a restrained classic character. Austrian cuisine dominates here, the waiters are dressed in suits and if you are lucky enough to walk through the main kitchen to one of the guest rooms of this huge restaurant.
We ordered Viennese schnitzel (beef), half-roast beef and potato soup. In the desserts you can choose between an apple strudel and a chocolate cake and fruit.

Nightlife at Oranienstraße street
This main street in Kreuzberg, Oranienstraße, has underneath every building a business pub restaurant or fast food.
This is exactly the place to get ready for a light dinner before going out. Note that some of the pubs here on the street do not serve food beyond a bit of pretzels, but luckily you do not lack where to eat before you start drinking.
We chose to start at a restaurant called Santa Maria, which serves excellent Mexican food and rum or tequila-rich cocktails.

Bear someone?
Visiting Germany is not complete without beer, preferably at least twice a day (after all, what is freedom if you do not drink beer before 12 noon?). In most pubs you will find at least ten different types of beer, very much straight from the barrel, and surprisingly there is even a huge selection of alcohol-free beer here – a concept that for some reason the Israelis did not connect with, but Europeans choose it quite a bit. A large glass of beer (with / without alcohol) will cost between 3-4.5 Euros, and cocktails cost 7-9 Euros. Prost, Cheers!
And a German sausage...
A visit to Germany would not be complete without sausages, which can also be found in street stalls in the markets, in pubs and restaurants of German food for tourists. In order to have sausages on the first evening we entered a restaurant called Restaurant Maximilians Berlin. The food was excellent but the atmosphere felt too touristy.
